Our newest member of the family, albiet for a short time, is Khalid Al-Khajah. Khalid’s on his summer break from the University of Edinburgh where he’s finishing his Crown Prince’s scholarship in Law and Economics. He’s got a passion for film too and he produced, acted in and directed several shorts there but wanted to know what the “real world” of film making is like, that’s why he volunteered his services to spend his holidays with us, and we welcome that with open arms.
Khalid’s been with us for a few days already and put in charge of our library and also been given a chance to come up with some concepts for some CSR videos we’re involved in.
“I’m thrilled at this opportunity to learn from masters in the field in Bahrain. I’ve always had passion for film and lately – through producing some of my own stories – learnt how demanding this discipline is. I fully appreciate that to craft a good story that can entertain and move audiences, I must develop an understanding of the various aspects of film production. It is with this vision that I chose to join Masadir Media, the leading film production company in Bahrain, to not only learn the craft, but also be inspired. I have not been disappointed,” Khalid commented on his acceptance to join Masadir Media as an intern.
